I've been drawing and modding a lot of parts recently for an upcoming project and these have been uploaded to the SB wiki http://shipbucket.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page after some fellows on the Discord liked them, so I wanted to share these with the whole forum in order to draw attention to the wiki and to get your comments, and specially criticism as I hope everyone can use these parts on the drawings that need them. :) Also please do use this thread to post new parts, this will let the forum know there's something new in the Wiki (you'll upload it to the wiki first, right?).

All of the images come with a colour palette for easy recolouring.

DISCLAIMER: These parts represent the fit on JMSDF Hatsuyuki-class Destroyers, always check your particular installation for specific details.

FCS2-12 fire control dome for RIM-7 Sea Sparrow.

[ img ]
FCS2-21 for 76mm gun.

[ img ]
Civilian band SatCom, should be able to represent fits for many countries but check your references.

[ img ]
X-band SatCom.

[ img ]
Ku-band SatCom.

[ img ]
ECM dome antenna.

[ img ]
Air search radar, distant descendant of AN/SPS-6, other marks exist.

[ img ]
Surface search radar with limited low-level air search capability.

[ img ]
Medium frequency sonar on dome.

[ img ]
Block 0 model without framing around the gun barrels.
I only modded the side views seen in the parts sheet to better represent what I've seen in photographs, but the front and top views were done by me.

[ img ]
Mark 75 76mm/62 gun, can represent gun in USN or JMSDF service, check the base of the gun in particular for your installation.
This one was modded from the existing part.

[ img ]
OTO Melara Compact 76mm gun, not in JMSDF service but it took basically no effort to make this one out of the Mk 75 as it's only missing the vent above the rear hatch.

[ img ]
Ship's boat, usually seen hanging from davits.

[ img ]
This one differs from the previous part in details and by having rhomboid shaped vents on top, other models have mushroom vents or don't have them at all, check your photographs!

[ img ]
Very close in dimensions to the old McConrads part, but with detail added, skirt around the rotating base is different on some launchers.

Hope you like them, and if not, do let me know!

Making use of this excellent thread (and with permission from Charguizard), I post here a list of parts I and others have updated, which were posted on the wiki but not on here yet. I will try to keep doing so when updating/creating parts, so people get notified of updates and have a chance to comment. Keep in mind: the wiki will always be updated first, so the best place to look for the latest parts will always be there, not this thread.

I think that is all that has not been separately posted up here so far.

It's been a while since I updated this. Note that this is only a log of new parts or parts renewals, not of everything that is being uploaded to the wiki (I am still working on getting more and more of our existing components categorised and searchable on the wiki)
I keep this list updated every once in a while to let people who are not active on the discord and/or wiki can see which components are updated and comment on them if they want ;) Other artists can of course do the same if they update or create new components!

Just for those who might not know: the links here link to a wiki page on the shipbucket wiki that contains information for the artist to use these components in their artwork, like real world data, affiliated systems/components, ships that used it IRL etc.

All new drawings for all versions of the SPY-1 radar. Just a sample of the different images that I created here, the rest is on the linked wiki page.

Not drawn by me, but I updated it on the wiki for everyone to have access to it so I'll include it here just to be sure: a new drawing of the Goalkeeper done by Mitchell300. Sideviews existed for a bit but he updated the front and top views too.

All new, more accurate, belowdeck parts for the Mk 26 GMLS. Just a sample of the different images that I created here, the rest is on the linked wiki page.

I drew the Mk 20 deckhouse design that initially would contain the AEGIS system.

New Mk 4 AWHS drawing (far more accurate then what was on the old sheet)

I did a full redraw of the SPG-60 and the part we just used the SPG-60 for in drawings, the STIR. The existing SPG-60 drawing was too big, but it was about the right size for the STIR. Getting the sizes right was difficult as many sources disagree, but matching data and pictures eventually lead to these hopefully accurate renditions.

Hi all. I believe it was mentioned that there was a new top view in progress for the AN/SPG-51, based on the new side view that Garlicdesign created for the Cassard - class frigates. I'm just wondering if that top view has been made available, or if I should give it a go myself and see if I can come up with something. Cheers!

Hi rainmaker, I have something in the late stages of work in progress of an all new SPG-51. How fast do you need it?

That’s fantastic! I’m in no rush, take your time. I’m working on two variants of the never-built Canadian General Purpose Frigate (GPF) project from the early 1960s with corresponding side and top views. It will take me a few more weeks of fiddling before I have them finished. :)

I'll try to finish and post them before that then ;)
