I'm finally doing the HMVS Childers and found a peculiar photograph of a very detailed and accurate model which depicts a wing gun which looks similar to the Hotchkiss 1 pounder(37mm), I was wondering if anyone has done this gun before?

Also I haven't seen any Nordenfelt guns around I suppose they haven't been done

I believe it's a 37mm Hotchkiss

According to the Cerberus site it's the automatic version, but the gun on the model doesn't look like it.

Until recently our website (http://www.cerberus.com.au) incorrectly suggested that the 1st Class Torpedo Boat Childers carried two multi barrelled 37 mm Hotchkiss Guns. Further research has indicated that Childers actually carried two 1 pounder 1.5 inch Hotchkiss single barrel guns. Some details are available at http://www.cerberus.com.au/hotchkiss_1p ... eshow.html
