Since the Mark 26 is not round, it would also be helpful to indicate width (even if you don't actually draw an end-on view).

I think this is an awesome idea - I've done some very basic estimates for the under-deck silos for shipwrecks onboard the kirov class and the engines of the Slava class. When estimating deck penetration, I just use rules of thumb derived from most of the drawings I've seen and the weapons sheet - this will help a great deal!

I would love to, but I have no information for the size. if you have anything, please let me know, and I might even do an end on or top view (basic ones maybe, but for the sake of showing the size) but currently I just can't.

indeed, go for it! look at the LM 2500..... as long as the sizes are good, it hasn't to be perfect ;)
