1980s and 1990s Super jumbos I've cleaned up: The 763-246C was a single deck New Large Airplane design from Boeing, and was just inside the 80m wide airport limit for wingspan. The MD-12 was McDonnell Douglas's attempted 744 competitor, but issues with the MD-11 meant that it never got off of paper. An-418 was a passenger version of hte An-124, but as changes were made to accommodate people rather than cargo, the differences started to multiply. KR-860 was a Suhkoi design from the end of the 1990s, and would have been the largest aircraft in the world had it been built. To fit in the standard 80m airport width, the wings folded up outboard of the outer engine pylons. |

Nice drawings. Short question about the KR-860 being the largest aircraft in the world had it been built. What is its size compared to the A380. |

TJ, just one question abut the 763. Was it really to be that long and thin? The only paper reference I have ever managed to find calls for a shorter (547pixels in FD scale) aircraft with a thicker fuselage. |

Let's start using the Wiki to upload Planebucket drawings - pls categorize as "Category:Fixed wing aircraft" or "Category:Helicopters" where necessary. Thanks in advance. http://shipbucket.com/wiki/index.php/Special:Upload |

Question - has anybody attempted to tackle the Stratolaunch carrier aircraft, at any scale? |
