A little idea that I've been tossing around. I've always loved the vessels of the Indian Navy, they're such an interesting blend of Western, Russian, and indigenous systems. What if India developed a successor to the Kamorta-class which featured the MF-STAR AESA radar which is now being integrated on Israeli Sa'ar 5-class corvettes? The Next Generation Corvette is indeed a real program, although this is purely a work of fiction based on my own imagination. Thanks to Gollevainen for the fantastic original drawing which I've crudely kitbashed here! |

This is a very nice looking design and is an interesting blend of sensors and weapons. A very plausible what-if. |

You should retain the description of the angle in the mainmast surfaces consistent with similar structures in the rest of the drawing, or alternatively change the whole drawing to incorporate the Black pixel lines. |

I’m sorry, I’m not entirely sure I understand. Could you elaborate on which area you mean specifically? I believe you’re referring to the area around the side-looking radar face with the grey pixel lines but I want to be sure. Thanks for all your help - it’s much appreciated.

Edited! This is proving to be quite a difficult shape to portray correctly with the multiple facets but I do agree that swapping the black line for grey is an improvement. |

@rainmaker. I really love the design on this one. It incorporates indeed the various styles in one, and it does it neatly! What for is actually the downward slope on the rear end of the hull? Is this some kind of special feature? |

I think it might be to push the propeller wake downward, to prevent huge wake right after the helicopter deck at high speed |

It's basically an integrated stern wedge. This: But not tacked on after the fact. |
