Dump the aft SSMs over the side and put a VDS + ASW TTs combo there instead. A stern ramp for RHIBs would also be nice to have when you're playing around in the nasty end of the North Sea.

also, the fridjof nansen class is the smallest AEGIS ship ever, as far as I know. I doubt it would fit on this ship.....
if you want US equipment, maybe better to use SPY-3 or something......

Why are you crediting MConrads as the author of this drawing? Please remove at once!

Forgot to change the text when I draw directly into another template I had.

Was it not something about that one can get them on the corvette's now, only that it is not recommended to be installed on a vessel that is less than 3000-4000 tons?

I can see the problem that you have not seen a enneste vessel that is smaller than the Fridtjof Nansen class with Spy-1et or else ... But it was the discussed in the completely crazy about my page frigates / destroyer, where we found that the water would be boiled. but I am crazy!

By the way the boat is only 30 meters shorter not like some 60 meters shorter than the Fridjof Nansen class.

Should take to look at the Spy 3. Where can I find it ...?

By the way Fridjof Nansen-class user AN/SPY-1F, I had thought of using Spy-1K is a bit ... smaller ...

on the zumwalt, the ford, and the cvx 3c drawings on shipbucket. on the first 2 it is confirmed, on the cvx it was my assumption they would be placed. on the ford drawing they are kinda large IMO, the one on the CVX are more correct.
little note: they give 120 degrees coverage, instead of the 90 of the SPY-1, and the SPY-3 works together with another radar (the large plates on my cvx)

You want SPY-5, not SPY-3. PDF Warning. CEAFAR (again PDF warning) might be less than you were looking for, but still might be a good fit.

AEGIS* is heavy, and there is a reason why the two smallest AEGIS designs (Nansen and DG/AEGIS) are above 5000 tons full load.

*AN/SPY-1 is just a part of AEGIS, as AEGIS is the entire system including the backend.

hey nice! I didn't even knew SPY-5 existed :D indeed, that is an better fit. another option maybe: SEAPAR. the light version of the THALES APAR, basically. but well, that one is dutch, if you only want to use US systems.....

How comes Raytheon always uses such shitty quality pictures in their promotional material?
