I saw erik_ts rendition of USS Luce and throught it would make a great basis for my retro DDG design for the RAN. After he granted me permission to use his design, I made some radical changes to the superstructure and aft end and came up with this: |

Where are all the missiles? Dropping Terrier and adapt Tartar is not a good idea IMO.BTW, no SVTTs? |

Woops...forgot the missiles and torpedo tubes. I left an Ikara bird off the drawing as there is one in the starboard launcher. |

Because that was the requirement of the day (as per the real life Perth Class). The Sea King was a last minute addition and I was contemplating an alternate rotary wing component to this platform (either Westland Wasp or Kaman SeaSprite). |
