It looks ok to me,this configuration was used in some hellenic-built ferries of the 1970's,1980's and in several conversions/modifications in that era and later, according to some descriptions from a hellenic magazine about Merchant Marine and what I remember from my trips by ferry in Aegaean/Ionian Islands.However,in some of our ferries the second deck can be removed of added,depending of the traffic (summer/winter configuration).The second deck is accessible by internal ramps and only cars or motocycles are loaded there,while buses and lorries only below.
P.S Do you have seperate ramp/door for passengers in stern?Because in some old ferries (mainly in 1960's and 1970's) passenger access to accomondation above was internal from the car deck.I have seen this.
