Sure, I can do that, but honestly, I'm really liking what YOU came up with. :D I gotta admit though, I liked the offset limbo's more than the centerline, but we'll see what the finished product looks like. I may do up one of each and see which dog hunts better.

And thanks, can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to do this!

I was thinking more of a WW1 Uber-dreadnought if you catch my drift. ;)

Can you make slightly British with some Germanic elements if that is possible.

I think it will be a very good one.

EDIT: Yes it does Morten812 but it has British Pom-Pom's and secondary's.

It's because I doesn't like the British Battleship design. Yes the hull is nice but the superstructure....

Morten812 want a A large US cruiser a Long beach replacement.
What I think is the best solution is this one on steroids and a bit cruiser overkill on weapons!
http://www.shipbucket.com/Never%20Built ... el%202.png

- main engine room: 3-4 gas turbines for electric drive but also as direct drive.
- main engine room aft: a couple of large conventional diesel generators for... whatever!
- small engine room aft and forward: a couple of emergency generators for when the main is out and go. or if there is a need for electricity in a local town or similar!
- Large VLS aft and forward. ASuW and ASW missiles.
- one smaller VLS aft for the forward one. for larger AAW missiles.
- two small VLS for ESSM.
- Twin door hangar. (need to move the ESSM VLS).
- Harpoons as Standard ASuW.
- two 5" gun.
- large sonar.
- sharing design elements with the Burk's and thus cut down on the cost!

If I might offer a suggestion Heuhen, feel free to use the WIP I did of CGBL as a base. You may want to make it longer to fit everything onboard.
