Rowdy36, sorry for this belated reply. I've only now noticed your brig. It looks very nice - a lot of potential there - but I think, nay I recommend you staggering the masts, at least some 9-12 degrees aft, to better carry the sails she has.

Hi Rowdy,

I think bezobrazov is referencing the way that the masts on most ships in that era seem to slant backward slightly (I guess to try and reduce the bending moment from the sails?) - I was actually about to ask the same question myself, but bezo beat me to it, by some margin...
