the goalkeeper doesn't need any guidance, all is on the mount. also, keep in mind that the goalkeeper is put into service in 1980, and can not be put on your 1970's version.

an idea maybe: if you make an export version, why not put dardo's or oto melara 76 guns on it? for smaller navys that would be suitable for both CIWS and ship defence, if they have not many escorts.

btw, maybe put the decoy launchers on top of the structure instead of on a small sponson.

I'll shift the chaff launchers up.
And yeah, they're too early for the '70's. But this version is the 200X.

hey, that's not a bad idea :) I was thinking of doing an AU with it...

Maybe you modernize this somewhat. I like the island, though you might want to enlarge or expand it. http://shipbucket.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1204

I don't think so. The island here is larger than the one on the mini harrier. It's big enough.
It really does need a little more detailing though. Might have a couple of small weapons.

Changed the island slightly. See what you think.

This has progressed well. A nitpick thought, we have no forward gun-based CIWS. This is probably not a large issue.

I'm doing my best to rectify that. Try this on for size:

Shifted sea wolf aft. Put a goalkeeper under the bridge.
Did some strange things to the superstructure.
Also, hey look, an anchor :P
