Zephyr, may I ask why you have two huge air search radars? By the looks of it, a CXAM-1 or SK, and a SK-2. One should be enough. The CXAM-1 was standard in 1940-1941. The SK took over in 1942. The SK-2 became the standard in mid 1945.
To partially answer your question, I'll just repost portions of this post from the previous page. ;)

Don't ask "Why is [insert radar type here] where it is?" or "Why did you use [insert radar type here]?" because my answer will be "I don't know." followed by a request to point out the correct type and a possible location.

If you see something incorrect, dumb looking, inconceivable, or just downright WTF... just tell me (or point me towards) what is a better solution.
My knowledge of appropriate radar types, uses, and locations is, at this point, quite limited, and I rely heavily on y'all to keep me pointed in the right direction in that regard. For the most part, right now, I just look at about the right timeframe and "roll the dice" (not literally) because I figure the "pull it out of my backside" method has got to work at least part of the time. Who knows, one of these days I may guess right, and in the meantime, when I pull the wrong one out, I know y'all will let me know. ;) I've already learned some things here about different radars, and hopefully, the learning curve won't flatline on me.

Exactly what time period is this battleship from? Late 30´s or early 40´s?

approximately the same as the North Carolina Class, except 5 of them instead of just 2, so it extends out for a couple more years in commissionings. First was laid down in '37, commissioned in '40, with another following each year after.

In that case, I would remove the SK-2 radar. It was´t deployed until 1945. The SK-2 is the large parabolic radar in front of the rectangular radar. I would also have rounded the hull where the stern meets the keel. Make a more gradual slope. Look at other drawings for what I mean.

I agree with removing it, as the other was earlier. However, I just want to note that Grays Harbor is not a US or UK clone. Timeframes can be somewhat fluid. I use a +/- 5 year rule of thumb for devolpments. I use basically UK/US designs and equipment for inspiration and because it is simpler than trying to design radars, guns and missiles on my own. *shrug*

I did look at other drawings. They aren't all curved, some are straight. Mine is somewhere between the two.

The rounder stern is prettier than than the straight stern. I have always been a fan of the German stern. There´s something pretty about it. My Balder class was originally designed with a straight, transomish stern, less sheer on the forecastle and smaller flare on the bow. But then it turned into this:

If you look at my Montana you have a typical modern American stern:

Thanks. It´s actually a blend of American, British and German ships.

redone stern. not sure about the rudder though. I think I may like the previous stern better.
