You cann't place a funnel above the engines. Funnels go above the boilers, with the engines, usually in a seperate compartment after the boiler-room. In the above design the there are turrets in that position, and turrets are like ice-bergs having more below the surface than what is shown. Turrets need shell-rooms, magazines, hoists and machinery to move it all. All that is below the turret proper, but in your design you also need some space for the engines.
Also for a 1930's ship reciprocating engines went out of fashion something like 20 years earlier.

I couldn't get thr superstructure to look right so I took the Castel Conwy and used this hul to replace the Fuso hull. as of know I be taking a break from this ship to work on other things for the time being.

The crane seems too short to reach the aircraft. So it looks like the crane services nothing. Maybe replace it?

or
* Turn the turret around, so the barbette is slightly aft and replace the aircraft crane and remove the AA position in front of where the crane was
