I think that the SPS-52/SPS-48 is too low.Look at new drawings of USS Kidd.

Perhaps. I just put it where it was on the original drawing.

It's all feasible though - so I wouldn't worry about it.

Hmm, lets see if I can put it all together....

Timeline:
1973-74 - Built as Weapons Class Group 1 (early Spruance class) destroyers HMS Sabre and HMS Falchion.
1993 - Decommissioned as new Kasten Class (Arleigh Burke class) destroyers came on line. Sold to the Dominion of Leegesia.
1994 - Conversion to helicopter carriers begun.
1997 - HMLS Buccaneer (ex-HMS Falchion) commissioned
1998 - HMLS Corsair (ex-HMS Sabre) commissioned
1999-present - various systems upgraded as newer versions become available.

Lynx and Merlin, while older birds, are still considered 1st line equipment.

The Merlin is most certainly not an 'older bird' There are 20 years between the two.

Need some help here, please.

First, crediting. Most all of what was kitbashed together on this was from old drawings, all credited to "unknown". Do I include that in the credits? It doesn't seem right for me to take sole credit on something I just put together from various parts, but having "unknown" as the lead credit looks a bit odd too.

second. The red underwater bits. I suck at it. Now, not that long ago I would have just found something of about the right size and length, slapped it on and called it a day. That doesn't seem enough anymore. So, If I could get an assist in doing those pesky red underwater bits, I'd appreciate it. Timeframe for when they were commissioned, if that helps any, is 1924-27.

third. No debate on the merits, or lack thereof, of this overall design. Those eggs have been scrambled already. Seriously. I mean it. The above water bits stay as is.

What ship is that? originally I mean.
Please note that Unknown's ships are not all that accurate, and many of the ships by Unknown have a more accurate rendition in the Great Britain's section of the Real Life archive. You might as well search there.

It has bits/elements from Leander, Effingham and Nelson. I wasn't going for a clone of any one particular ship, just used bits of funnel, hull and superstructure plugged in here and there, rearranged, deranged, modified and mystified in order to come up with something new, unique and a bit different. When I want more accurate depictions of a particular vessel, I do indeed go to the GB section as opposed to the other older one. In this case, I just needed bits though.
