HMS Royal Oak also went 'boom' as you put it, while at anchor in Scapa Flow, and not to forget HMS Prince of Wales, alongside a BC HMS Repulse. If you also include WW1 losses, than the numbers of BBs lost will go higher (albeit pre-dreadnaughts, in general)

Looks good but as ever the practical reasons seem lacking for such a massive rebuild.

Canada has non-standard guns, she is no better armoured than Tiger other than marginally thick end bulkheads, barbettes and turrets. The Irons Dukes had 3in more belt armour, far thicker end bulkheads, thicker turret faces but less deck armour.

Export designs were not RN designs to RN standards, they often skimp on space for stores, crew and fuel. She has more hp and 1.5kts more speed than ID but Iron Duke's range was 7780nm at 10kts (Tiger 6450nm) and Canada had a range of only 4400nm at 10kts (admittedly the QEs originally were 4500nm at 10kts). Almost all impressed ships were found inferior to the DNC's products and soon discarded. I would sooner spend on a third total QE Class rebuilt than this ship.

Most battleships and battlecruisers go boom when they're pummelled with high explosive, whether delivered by bomb, torpedo or shell..

The battlecruisers at Jutland were doomed by poor safety practices to increase rate of fire, Hood was penetrated due to her outdated armour scheme designed for flatter and shorter-ranged trajectories, ships exploding due to turning turtle etc. more due to sensitive/defective/dodgy cordite (and possibly contributing to Hood's demise too).

How much speed could you get out of HMS Canada 1915 remove Q turret plate over barbette convert mag to additional oil storage 16 4.7" in lieu of 6", should save 1000 tons with original machinery can she make 24 knots?

Would she be fast enough to steam with 5th battle squadron?

Why the different boiler layouts between HMS Canada ,Almirante Latorre, and HMS Eagle ,Almirante Cochrane.
Canada 21 boilers Eagle 32, Chile must have ordered the ships this way, Eagle was almost complete up to the forecastle at outbreak of WW1 with boilers installed?

How were Eagles boilers laid out 4 BR 8 boilers in each?

If Fisher decided to complete Almirante Cochrane as BB what is the soonest she could commission?

All this based on alternate history ie Canada passes naval aid bill and funds used for these two ships instead of 3 QE's.
