first of all: why have you replaced my updated drawings of the LCVP by the (ugly!) old drawing? if it is just so you can put the CB90 on, just say so, I will then send you an drawing of the david without the LCVP.

the islands are kinda large now. while it is possible, you create extremely ugly ships now.
the VLS in the island: extremely heavy, so your ship will have top weight issues.

and an land attack strike system? what about cruise missiles?

I shall put forth such a request. Thank you in advance. 8-)

*Nod* (Thinking of an alternative now......)

(Although the one I can think of on top of my head is very much like the Kusnetzov with commando carrier features...... Um...... balancing act: VL land attack weapon, at least commando carrier capability, and maybe not big enough for STOBAR Typhoon......)

Tomahawk is allocated to "another faction"...... although not necessarily a hostile one. (As for the alternative...... RK-55 Sampson...... but that's launched from a torpedo tube......)

Also I am looking for something not too expensive to be used against targets not traditionally considered of high value......

tomahawk isn't the only cruise missile :P I guess you want european systems?
for the david: [ img ][ img ][ img ] here you go ;) now never use drawings I have replaced by better ones again, please :P

btw, for what you are planning to do, I think an heavy weaponed LPD is an better idea.... what about an modified enforcer 13000 stealth? (the last one in the first post of my enforcer thread)

Something like that.

Actually, the source country doesn't even really matter although the setting has the acquisition of the system placed in a timeframe where people still were likely to look to just the US, Europe, and Russia for stuff beyond infantry arms.

Will remember to ask next time. :D

Changes made to the 18000 version (which I now am inclined to consider as where the definitive effort on the LHD-derivative route would be) should be visible in a few hours time, thanks to Photobucket not updating the replacement pic in realtime.

Forgot that option (although I wonder if an earlier version would fit better with the early-2000 timeframe).

well, the enforcer 13000 design is most likely from around 2004. all others are from between 1995 and 2005.
