Alright, took some time to correct a few minor flaws, and add some things I should have on the first version.

RAM came into service roughly around 1985, best I can discover.

I'm having trouble locating that source--most give the early 1990s as its entry into service, though I'm not certain if that pertains only to the USN, or in general. It might have entered Bundesmarine service somewhat earlier.

Nope. According to Designation-Systems.net RAM became operational in 1992. The final production model wasn't approved for development until 1987.
