Well you have on similar hull (v Yubari)

8 4x2 155mm (6 2x2+2x1 140mm) very big increase IMO
2 x ? TT (2 x 4 TT (24")) might be less if you are 21" ?

What about starting with 6 3x2 guns ? and dropping a set of TT for the float plane later ? or just make it bigger (even wider as it will not show ;) ) and Yubari is 35.5Kn so you can trade a bit of speed off.

They are 145 mm.

Well, according to NavWeaps, the two-gun turret of "Yubari" weighted a 49 tonn, and single mount - about 20 tonn. So, if this data is reliable, than the "Yubari" main guns weighted about 49+49+20+20=138 tons, and the "Javary" main guns (if they are the same weight) - 196 tons. The difference is only about 58 tons. And i have much lighter torpedo tubes.

I use 533-mm tubes; but maybe i should use triple instead of quadruple?

Dilandu: are you the original artist of this? I believe it's BB1987, so what you're crediting is implying now is that you drew this first, then BB1987 modified it and next WhyMe did something about it! Do you see the dilemma?

No, technically, it's WhyMe name that has to go first, Yuubari was drawn by him. The parts coming from my drawings are just the two tripod masts (from the Sendai class)


edit:
@Eltf, keep in mind that it it truly difficult (if not impossible) to correctly springsharp a working Japanese treaty cruiser because of many construction methods pretty much unique to them (like armor belts and decks making up the acutal structure of the hull, or the welded plates...)

No, technically, it's WhyMe name that has to go first, Yuubari was drawn by him. The parts coming from my drawings are just the two tripod masts (from the Sendai class)
Damn, each time i think that i made all references on Shipbucket right, it appears that i make something wrong... :(

What they were saying is that the original drawing you altered was drawn by WhyMe, you have added parts from BB1987, and Dilandu was the one who put it all together. So for the credits line you end up with (WhyMe/BB1987/Dilandu)

I didn't "alter" the drawning; the hull is mine, after all. I used a lot of parts of WhyMe drawnings, as artillery mounts - eidted and elongated - as well as the other components. So, I presume that the line of BB1987/WhyMe/Dilandu would work either?
