Since I thought the scenario in my first Philippines AU didn't fit right, now here is a new one. In this AU Philippine history goes on as in real life until the Philippine Revolution, which ended successfully for the Philippines and has been an independent country since 1898. After World War II, the Philippines became the most well-developed country in Southeast Asia and a regional power. |

Adams Class destroyer). These ships are used as escorts for the aircraft carrier BRP Luzon and (after the BMD upgrade) as ballistic missile defense platforms. The Jose Rizal Class features an advanced antiair warfare built around the Thales APAR AESA multifunction radar and SMART-L volume search radar. The ships also have the capability to fire P-ASROC antisubmarine missiles (carrying the MU90 Impact torpedo) and Archangel supersonic land attack/antiship missiles. In February 2012 the BRP Jose Rizal was fitted with the EWC variant of the SMART-L radar, allowing detection of ballistic missiles at a range of 2000 km. The capability to fire Standard Missile 3 was added, giving BRP Jose Rizal the capability of engaging ballistic missiles. Upgrades to the CIC were also made, with new Thales MOC Mk4 consoles to replace the previously used Thales MOC Mk3. In August 2014 BRP Jose Rizal successfully engaged a ballistic missile target at the Pacific Missile Range Facility with a SM-3. The rest of the class will eventually receive the upgrade. |

These frigates are the mainstay of the Philippine Navy and have been offered for export to several countries. |

Good work again, as in previous thread. To be honest, Brooke FFG or Baleares Class would be more resonable for Philippine Navy. Adams were expensive to operate, mostly due to propulsion system. Perhaps Garcia/ Brooke frigates could be built uner license, while Fletcers and Gearings could also aquired for free. |

The Philippines in this AU has little to do with the real Philippines, as I wrote in this AU Philippine history goes as in real life until the Philippine Revolution. And the Philippines WWII onwards here is like Japan in that era in real life. |

Pampanga Class LHD: length: 169.5 m beam: 29.6 m draft: 6.7 m displacement (max): 18,000 t speed: 21 kts range: >12,500 nm complement: 100 crew + 792 troops propulsion: 4 Caterpillar 16V diesel engines Sensors: Thales SMART-S Mk2 air search radar Furuno navigation radar Communication systems: P-MILCOMSAT SATCOM VHF/UHF antennas Link 11/16 Armament: 1x Phalanx II 25 mm CIWS 1x Oto Melara MARLIN 30 mm remote weapon stations 2-4x M2HB 12.7 mm machine guns Decoys: Mk. 36 SRBOC Aircraft: 8x NH90TTH Boats: 2x LCU The Pampanga Class LHD is a license-produced version of the Damen Schelde Enforcer 18000 LHD design. They replaced older LSD's of the Bulacan Class that were in service since the 1960's. Modifications were made to the original design so that it will fit Philippine requirements, such as the addition of the 25 mm CIWS, 30 mm gun and chaff launchers. A ship of the class, BRP Bataan, shares a name with a US Navy LHD of the Wasp Class. |

The Royal Schelde Enforcer has more sense for Philippine AU. Well done. |

here's the frigate on bidding
I think this deserves its own thread, since this Republika ng Pilipinas AU is a fictional version of the Philippines had the Philippine Revolution been fully successful.
