Measure 32, design 22a, the medium pattern system.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, the modern military is completely bereft of elan. Hopefully this will restore some of it.

This is a nice start ( ) but please use a more modern aircraft.

Perhaps a helicopter (Merlin, Kamov, etc) would be a better choice? ;)

Imagine Burke serving in World War two, it will become a Kamikaze aircraft hunter!

Helicopters are for idiots. A real man flies a floatplane.

Then at least change out the floatplane for something more advanced like a modern Sea Dart! :P

As for this in WWII? I'd just take a cheap hull and spam Phalanxes! xD Would be the most epic sight in battle!

Maybe you should tell that to Jan-Michael Vincent...

It's a handsome ship but I have my doubts about the use of camouflage in a modern electronic environment!

Camouflage breaks up a ship's outline, making it less susceptible to radar detection.

Besides, the camo paint used for this ship (standard USN WW2-era Ocean Gray (5-O), Light Gray (5-L), and Dull Black (BK)) had intrinsic radar scattering capabilities.

The aim is tp disconcert the enemy; first with the cool camo, then with the retro floatplane ;)
