After further consideration, I decided to have another AU differ from what I done for the past 7 months, the detail of this country still with the first one, but some changes on it. _________________________________________________________ Royal Vestrician Federation Flag: Map: Until further notice!!! Royal Vestrician Federation, or simply Vestricia is a sovereign archipelagic and maritime nation in East Asia. It comprised of Beauharnais, Verdania, Ryuugakyuu, and Vestricia. The Federation includes the archipelagic zone of Sakuramine in the east, Ryuugakyuu in the west, and British Gibraltar Islands in the middle, where the Imperial Capital City of Villan is located. The Verdania shares a strait borders with Taiwan; otherwise, the Vestrician Federation is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Philippine Sea, and the South Japan Sea. Vestricia is a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy. The capital city and the center of government is Villan. Sakuramine Freeport Zone, on the other hand, is the global city and financial centre with a metropolitan area population of over 19 million. Rosenworth is the autonomous academic city-state and somehow, became a center of education in the country. Other major cities include Sakuramine, Port-au-Royale, Casablanca, Hanazaki, East Shinmei and Ney. Beauharnais, Verdania, and Ryuugakyuu have their own devolved governments, each with varying powers. Royal Vestrician Navy Naval Ensign Royal Vestrician Navy is the maritime warfare branch of the Royal Vestrician Armed Forces, tasked with the naval defense of Vestricia. The RVN was formed following the dissolution of the Royal Vestrician Self-defense Navy and Vestrician Defense Forces in 1977 after failed communist and military coup d'etat and reformation of Royal Vestrician Armed Forces in 1980. Organization and Structure The RVN is commanded by the Chief of the Maritime Defense. Its structure consists of the Vestrician Admiralty, the Vestrician Royal Fleet, five regional district commands, the air-training squadron and various support units, such as hospitals and schools. The Vestrician Admiralty, located in Villan, serves the Chief of Staff in commanding and supervising the force. The Vestrician Royal Fleet, headquartered at Sakuramine City, consists of the RVN's military shipping. It is composed of Home Fleet(based on Casablanca Arsenal), Fleet Escort Force (based in Sakuramine, Casablanca, Villan and Akinagawa), the Fleet Air Force headquartered at Hanazaki, Fleet Submarine Force based at Villan and Sakuramine, Mine Warfare Force based at Casablanca and the Fleet Training Command at Port-au-Royale. The ship prefix RVS (Royal Vestrician Ship) was first used during its formation in 1840 until 1948, at which time RVFSDN(1948-1977), and later RVN ships started using the prefix HVMS (His Vestrician Majesty Ship) to restore the old traditions documented by the Ministry of Maritime Defense (now Vestrician Admiralty). As of 2022, the RVFSDN operates a total of 165 ships (excluding minor auxiliary vessels), including 4 aircraft carriers, 2 battlecruisers (ceremonial), 3 guided missile cruisers, 10 guided missile destroyers, 10 general purpose destroyers, 30 guided missile frigates, 30 corvettes, 20 attack submarines, 3 amphibious transport docks, eight training vessels and a fleet of various auxiliary ships. The RVN has four primary naval districts/bases for its fleet: - HVMNB Haruna, located at Yoshida Ward, Sakuramine City, Sakuramine Prefecture - HVMNB Nagato, located at Kinatagawa Ward, Villan Imperial City, Villan Prefecture; - HVMNB Hyuuga, located at Casablanca City, Brumaire Prefecture ; and - HVMNB Ise, located at Akinagawa, Akashi Prefecture. In addition, six other bases are home to the majority of the RVN's minor war vessels: - HVMND Ney - HVMND Oosora - HVMND Shinagaki - HVMND Port-au-Royale - HVMND Rosenworth - HVMND Higashima Naming Convention Naval Station(HVMNB) - all IJN battleships that survive the war (either sunk on their moorings or still afloat) Aircraft Carriers(CVA/CVN) - regions or archipelagic zone of Vestricia Special Type Destroyers (DDG/DDGN/DDGH) - Japanese god and goddesses Standard Destroyers (DD) - Japanese mythological animals/creatures Frigates(FFM/FFG) - Japanese sword names Corvettes(FF) or Missile/Patrol Boats(PML)- French-named cities and municipalities (cause some of the territories are under French colony during the 1800s and became part of Beauharnais Republique in it's formation) Amphibious Assault Ships(LPD/LPH) - Vestrician Cities/municipalities |
