don't forget you also need STIR's or something similar to guide the sea sparrow.
also, I don't quite get the combination of an (british!) LCVP mk5, which are brand new, and the 'old' sea sparrow.

I suggest you 2 things: first draw the original, then begin drawing the refitted one. that way you can't do things that would have been impossible with the original one, and your final ship will look better then this one.

I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

She is now 186,6m

I've tried to make it look as original as possible now. but I think I have too many 40mm. (I took a look at the CV-5 USS Yorktown), but when you sit here and do not have much idea on ships from that time period ... but with practice one becomes the master!

And here from that time she was part of "The Black fleet" on the world tour.

I tried to find the right radars of that era. NB! I'll remove the rangefinder behind the rear mast.

Some other areas I should upgrade. hammer, saw, head ...! before I move on to the last two upgrades. (1978 and 1995)

That's an embarrassingly ugly funnel, especially given the quality of the rest of the ship.

as completed.

When in the "Black fleet"

Today: Reserve fleet

Any suggestions on the final version. Remember that she is now in the reserve fleet, the equipment should reflect that. Cheap guns, cheap radar etc. ;)

Ugh, you do NOT know how funnels look like :p

I'd look around the database and see what ideas you like.

main task of a stack is to carry away the smoke from the engine away from the deck. So how it looks is not important. But I think they are similar to Vanguard's smoke stacks!

But how do you prefer that they look?

Look at pictures (since I don't know whether these ships have been drawn!) of the US ships Wasp, Yorktown-class or, for that matter the Ranger (although I'd not go with that!) - or simply copy HMS Ark Royal's (1939) funnel! That's the simplest, and in no way demeaning way!
