Hmm, why integrate BMD capability on an aircraft carrier? I can see the Aster Block 2 ABM and a radar system similar to the Raytheon Dual Band Radar on the Gerald R. Ford aircraft carriers. There is also the SCALP Naval cruise missile. Does this ship preform the same missions as Soviet/Russian "aircraft carrying cruisers"?
Indeed, Atlantian naval aviation has never really truly accepted the aircraft carrier as simply that, there have always been attempts to dual or multi-role them. Considering the size of it and the prevalence of things like the DF-21 make it prudent for her to be able to look after herself lest her escorts either be lacking or for some reason non existent. SCALP-N is there mainly to be volleyed against targets prior to a first strike by aircraft lessening the danger to the air wing in the opening stages of a conflict.
That seems a relatively modest air wing for such giant.
But that's probably most that could be effectively operated.
I recall reading somewhere that the maximum real effectively deployable air wing caps out at around 100 much more and you start to waste your assets.
