Nice destroyer, like the mounts but will the torps fit ? not sure side by side with 10 (5 +5) tubes will work on a DD.

They wont and to be fair a single centreline quintuple mount would suffice maybe even a quadruple set like most other destroyers.

Thanks for the comments everyone, i have made some mdifications to the destroyer and here it is:

I have changed the quintuple torpedo launchers for quadruple launchers and taking into account that this ship is wider then the Fletcher class, i think it could fit quadruple launchers on the sides. Ofcourse any suggestions are welcomed.

@Eltf177 : you almost got me, it is actually based on the never built BC OTO Project 26500t 1930

The limiting factor of having side-firing tubes is you get a limited broadside. You'll have to to turn back on yourself to fire the second bank of tubes whereas with centreline tubes you can fire one, the other or both banks if required. So my point stands. A quintuple or quadruple amidships on the centreline would be perfectly fine. Though if you really need to ship lots of torpedoes you could go for a twin turret setup making space for another set of tubes.

That is again one hell of a destroyer, though with 94,000SHP you should be able to make somewhat more than 37 kts. Le Fantasque made well over 40 before her refit...

If I had to guess? I'd say somewhere around 39-40kts. Your ships are pretty much analogous to Mogador and her sisters which made 39ish knots on 92,000SHP.
