Amazing set of destroyers Rowdy. The Vulcan frigate conversion is very very imaginative, and real-like.

Is it five per flotilla, or are there more??
They are eight ship flotillas but I've only drawn five to represent the bulk of the changes that would occur across the rest of the flotilla. Since I couldn't fit all the names on the B side I'll put them here:

First Flotilla
HMRS Leda D120
HMRS Wilson D121
HMRS Fredrick D122
HMRS Corbett D123
HMRS Hastings D124
HMRS Beaumont D125
HMRS Hasler D126
HMRS Fitzgerald D127

Second Flotilla
HMRS St Mary D130
HMRS Hammersley D131
HMRS Gairdner D132
HMRS Breaksea D133
HMRS Edwards D134
HMRS Shastar D135
HMRS Stanley D136
HMRS Forrest D137

Third Flotilla
HMRS Hood D140
HMRS Halbert D141
HMRS Wittenoom D142
HMRS Augustus D143
HMRS Heywood D144
HMRS Vulcan D145
HMRS Fontaine D146
HMRS Imperieuse D147

Now that exams are finished with I can post the first of a few ships that I'll be updating. First cab off the ranks is the Anvil class cruiser, which is the first ship I ever posted in this thread:

[ img ]
HMRS Anvil soon after entering service.

[ img ]
HMRS Black serving with the Mediterranean Squadron in 1940.

[ img ]
HMRS Mondrain serving with the Mediterranean Squadron in 1941. This is how she looked when she met her demise against IJN and KnK ships off Java.

[ img ]
HMRS Boxer in 1942 fighting against Maddelenan forces.

[ img ]
HMRS Anvil serving alongside USN and RAN forces in the Guadalcanal campaign, temporarily hosting a USN aviation detachment. She received sufficient damage to be sent home to Recherche and was replaced in theatre by HMRS Condingup.

[ img ]
HMRS Black as seen serving with the Indian Ocean Squadron on convoy escort duty. It was in performing this role that she was torpedoed and sunk by a Maddelenan submarine.

[ img ]
HMRS Boxer serving with the Home Fleet in 1944.

[ img ]
HMRS Anvil returned to service and operating with the Indian Ocean Squadron in 1945.

[ img ]
HMRS Boxer as seen at the end of the war.

[ img ]
Armament listed as per HMRS Black in 1940.

Fantastic additions Rowdy!
I love all of these, the camo schemes are great and these look 110% believably real.

Nice cruisers Rowdy, they do look a lot like the Arethusa class, with those small differences that make them wholly Recherché.

This is really awesome!

Might I ask how you designed the map? Did you just make it from scratch in MSpaint?

Looks lovely Rowdy. Nice to see more from Recherche. :D
Out of curiosity, allow me just one question: I've noticed the 1946 Boxer has the upper row of portholes at the bow closed over but none on the lower decks. If closed to improve watertight integritiy or because sprays (much like the IJN started to do by 1943) wouldn't it be more plausible to plate the lower ones first?
