I generally prefer ocean liners to ferries for AH conversions, but with liners being few and far between anymore, it's a very nice touch.

... and just for the heck of it, a sample of Grays Harbor postage stamps. Of course, these are maritime themed stamps.

Now, that, good sir, is an excellent piece of fiction.
I mean, a postage stamp that only costs 40 cents? DEFINITELY not real!

Aside from that, you got some MAJOR skills.

Don't be too quick to commend the rates. Thats 40 pence, not 40 cents, and the GH Crown exchanges at $1.72 to 1 Crown, so the domestic rate is actually 69 cents (in USD). :P

And thanks. :)

Lovely stamps, how did you make them?

It depends, really. These, I found images I like, did some alterations on them, resized them, combined them and layered them in the case of the souvenir sheet and added the writing and borders to make them look like stamps. Others (not shown here) I have taken real designs, carefully removed all lettering, recolored them, resized them and added new lettering. A number of stamps I've done can be found here. Unfortunately, there are also alot of blank spaces as a good number of them had not been uploaded yet (because I kinda caught "ship design fever" ;) ) and appear to have been lost with my dead hard drive.
