And now for something less conventional... A competitor to the Nachzehrer future strike aircraft. The design features a large cranked delta wing with ruddervators and control canards. The most unconventional feature as you can probably tell is the dorsal intake which is as it to maximize space in the lower fuselage for fuel and internal stores as well as trying to reduce the aircraft's RCS. both sets of tail surfaces (it's twin tailed in a X arrangement) are moveable surfaces as whole units.

65.78m^2 wing area
14.63m wingspan
4.87m tall
20.57m long
7500kg internal payload 10500kg if using external hardpoints
10500kg internal fuel
~20000kg empty
~32500kg loaded
~39000kg max. takeoff weight
~5000km ferry range
~1300km combat radius
19812m service ceiling
1.255 Thrust-to-weight ratio at fully loaded weight in full reheat
2x 150/200kN E400-200 afterburning turbofans
2350km/h max. speed
1593km/h supercruise with light load
-3 to +9g g-loading
1 or 2 crew members
1x 27mm x145 or 30mm x173 gatling cannon with between 500 and 650 rounds depending on which weapon is mounted
Example A2A load of 8x BVRAAMs and 4x SRAAMs carried internally
Example A2G load of 4x GBU-31/GBU-56 907kg precision bombs with 2x BVRAAM and 2x SRAAM all carried internally

He's in a pissy because he was told to remove attachments and use image hosting instead. I don't think he knows the difference...

Good work in this AU, you can tell you are an aircraft enthusiast!

I hadn't actually noticed them before. It was inspired in part by an early Saab concept for what would become the Gripen with elements borrowed from the McDonnell JSF concept and the F-35. That said what I ended up isn't too dissimilar to ONI's design except For the odd 3 intake setup on his design.

it's actually not oni-designs' design, but only his drawing. the design is made for ace combat assault horizon ;)
