Why the F-16E, vs say a newer and possibly better bang for you buck Gripen or Eurofighter. Nothing wrong with using the F-16E, except maybe the plane itself is a pretty old design but thats about it, just curious.
Because in this AU the Philippines is already operating the F-16C Block 40 and a F-16 variant was chosen as the 4.5 generation fighter since it is logistically compatible with the F-16C.

I am working on a 30,000 ton light STOBAR carrier that could carry the Sea Gripen, NH90 NFH, and EH101 Merlin AEW. I originally wanted to base it on the Bazan BSAC220, but I think it would be better to base it on a diffrent platform, since the Sea Gripen has a smal footprint on the deck. I might be going for a STOBAR version of the Cavour aircraft carrier, altough someone already did it, or a ship of a similar size.

IMO, a 30000t STOBAR carrier would be the upper limit for a force such as this AU,otherwise it seems a bit disproportionate, the 23000t BSAC200 or an Invincible seem legitimate contenders

Since the Sea Gripen could be used on aircraft carriers starting 18,000 t, I will make a STOBAR carrier the size of the BSAC200, or modify the BSAC220 to a -200.
Edit: in this AU the 20,000 t STOBAR carrier is the replacement for a Majestic Class CVL.

Should be able to fit a fair few seeing the Gripen is rather small

Added the Jose Rizal Class AEGIS destroyer, which will be the primary AAW escort in the Philippine Navy's carrier battle group. Background information on some ships has also been added.

Added a patrol vessel for the Philippine Coast Guard, which is based on the ASW corvette I drew for the Philippine Navy.
Edit: added Leopard 2A6 MBT and Tomahawk missile for the destroyer.

I'm not sure if that coast guard corvette isn't armed with too wide wariety of guns - I see 4 types there, all of rather small calibres.
Other than that, keep it up. :)
