In the fiction, 35 Squadron is the first unit deployed to Questers during the "rebellion", and it flies more than its fair share of sorties against the Syndicalist navy, sinking 6 DDs and landing ships and shooting down a dozen enemy fighters, but this comes at a high cost as 7 of the 12 aircraft in the squadron are lost by the end of the war as well as 5 of the pilots who didn't get out of their aircraft. It becomes the most decorated squadron of the NPFC in the war and earns the right to paint its aircraft in the non-regulation scheme shown.
