Bloody hell, it's been a while since I drew a single ship in less than 24 hours, much less a battleship with a top-view.
In the Capital Ship section. you will find the remake of the HGrMS Sverkre Grip, as commissioned. She has yet to recieve any modernisations, but I hope to remedy that soon enough. I'm rather happy with the drawing, even though it might be a bit sparse with details.

PS: No, I don't have a strange fetish for laying down capital ships at year seven every decade... it's just happened to end up like that so far...

Hey KHT, were some engineers drunk and a little loopy-eyed when designing that Sverkre Grip BB? ;) 8-) The fore funnel seems to tilt perilously backwards, like it lacks front braces or something! It kinda looks odd, unbalanced and really like a bad design choice. Slanted funnels are fine, in fact, they can be outright gorgeous, but in the Sverkre Grip's case, it just looks like a careless job. Solution: either straighten it up, or slant it farther and see how that'll look like! even trunking it, a la HMS Sverige would probably be nice! :D

Hm, I rather liked how it looked... I think I'm going to straighten it it that case. I hate making Sverige Style funnels(they're hard to make good-looking), but I might give it a shot. For the mid-30s modernisation it will have a single trunked funnel, that much is certain.
Looking good otherwise?

EDIT: I tried a Sverige/Nagato Style funnel arrangement instead, and liked it. So it's there. ;)

Much better! At least now a slight slant is logically explained! (Plus your FCD in the foretop will be happy with less hot gases twirling around them!

EDIT: Elftf177 noted an error in the springsharp(I've posted the SG on Warship Projects as well), which gave me a bit more weight to play with. While I didn't post the 'sharp here, I've changed the given data(thicker armour at some places, and another knot of speed as well as more range).

I went ahead and SS'd the D-class, it works quite well except I couldn't meet he 1,800 tonne displacement limit. However, the 250 rpg could probably be cut back to 200 rpg which would help...
