Midships torpedos seem extraordinarily unlikely (it's like an above-belt magazine!!), and the disposition of the belt itself doesn't make tons of sense to me.

Wouldn't the placement of the torpedo tubes compromise the armor scheme? I can imagine some lucky shell gliding right into that hole and tearing that ship a new one. Unless, of course, the flaw is intentional.

I would encourage you to do a quick layout (NOT full drawing!) of the superstructure. It becomes tempting on a drawing like this to add far more to the side view (light AA, for example) than could ever possibly fit in the top view.
