Amongst the revisions are STIR 1.8s, loss of tsetse fly due to length, revision of several areas of the superstructure, updated underwater hull, smaller gun for reasons apparent in the actual T23, revised light and medium calibre arrangements and a revised depiction of the towed sonar.

Indeed! I'm currently in the process of updating the 'stealthified' Super Duke which should add even more variety into the mix.
Essentially AU wise I foresee the last three British T23s becoming what I term 'Quiet Dukes' Tol Galen obviously has both the 'Large Dukes' and 'Quiet Dukes' and New England has only the latter. Chile would have been offered in lieu of the earlier Dukes new build Large Dukes subsidised by the UK to keep yards alive. As as result of this, Romania would be offered Marlborough, Grafton and Norfolk in lieu of the Broadswords which instead would go to Chile to complement their existing Broadsword.

Whilst on the subject of butterflies...
Due to the massive amount of Nimrod 2000s produced for Tol Galen, the project is less of a cock-up than the OTL MRA.4 program leading Britain to actually get MRA.4s (no SIGINT derivative though) albeit still at reduced numbers than originally envisaged. As a result of this, there are both Galenian Nimrods based at Kinloss and St Mawgan with Galenian SIGINT poll being shared between Britain and Tol Galen on an 6 and 2 ratio, the RAF operating two aircraft at any one time.

Another possible butterfly is centred around the Typhoon, with the 144 airframes already produced for Tol Galen plus their Tranche 3 commitments (let alone the New England airframes) the Typhoon *should* become more available in as much as lower pricing and quicker development cycle for future additions brought about by the Galenian aerospace industry. As such Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark India are all slated to receive the Typhoon. Belgium and Denmark would be purchasing new-build Tranche 3 aircraft whilst Bulgaria would receive second-hand British and Galenian Tranche 1 aircraft. India is still iffy due to ongoing discussions and arguments between New Delhi and Eurofighter about local production.

A rough breakdown of envisaged production figures is as follows:
Belgium: 42 Aircraft | 36 Single-seat - 6 Two-seat <Tranche 3>
Bulgaria: 16 Aircraft | 12 Single-seat - 4 Two-seat <Tranche 1>
Denmark: 28 Aircraft | 24 Single-seat - 4 Two-seat <Tranche 3>
India: 126 Aircraft | 108 Single-seat - 18 Two-seat <Tranche 3>
New England: 32 Aircraft | 24 Single-seat - 8 Two-seat <Tranche 2>
Tol Galen: 200 Aircraft | 156 Single-seat - 44 Two-seat <Tranches 1-3>

Work on CAPTOR-E and associated AESA work for the Typhoon comes about at a quicker pace due to Indian and Galenian requirements

Further butterflies centre on the export of GCS when it comes to Canada, Chile or Brazil and New England but that's yet to be finalised.

It is indeed a helicopter carrier. Or, more specifically a helicopter destroyer. One of two proposals for the Salamander class. This being the single ended one the other being a true flat-top.

The single ended design is much like Jeanne d'Arc with four 76mm guns, and her main offensive punch up-front in the form of a 48 cell VLS for the accommodation of Sea Lance and ASALM. Amidships there are two 21" torpedo-tubes firing obliquely from the hull for heavyweight ASW torpedoes (Mod Spearfish). Her aviation facilities are geared around the carriage of eight Merlins allowing each ship to operate out into the GIUK Gap and cover vast swathes of ocean. As originally designed just as the cold war was winding down they were intended to carry a pair of ILADS launchers (Seaflash), these were never fitted however as they would interrupt helicopter operations with their placement.
