The Frigg class is coming along nicely. I am not quite sure about the Incomparable-ish bridge, what do you guys think?

Looking good. Only thought is that the flag could use some outlining. ;)

Some very nice looking vessels here. Proper warships without any of that electronics, aviation or complex computing stuff.

Personally of these I like the sleipnir class due to its Germanic lines.

Here is the battlecruiser wth 16 inch gun that I mentioned earlier. I have a name, Hel. If you believe that word/name is related to the english word Hell, then you are correct. It will be as big as the Admiral and Lexington classes and I will draw up 2-3 designs for it.

She was leid down in 1916 and was finished in 1923. Four ships were planned, two were completed as battlecruiser and the other two were converted into carriers. The original 1915-1916 was modified several times to include war time lessons and other technological progressions.

Here`s the first 1915-1916 version, as far as I`ve gotten:

Is the superstructure okay, or should I make a new one? Is the gun placements doable? Is she too big? Give me some advice before I make something horrible.

the guns seem to be too close to the top of the other turrets.

Yeah your super firing guns need a lot greater clearance over the turrets beneath, you have to keep in mind the shock wave and blast firing those guns has upon a ships structure. The yamatos had covered AA positions because the blast was powerful enough to strip flesh from bone if they were of the conventional open type.

Your superstructure looks alright though you'll want some kind of aft conning tower as well as the foreword one as an auxiliary station for commanding the ship if the main bridge was knocked out. As for this time period, I would go with either deck mounted secondaries or proper casemates, not the hybrids you're using currently. Cut outs are weaknesses in the upper works and aren't ideal in any rough sea state.

From an aesthetics point of view, if move your aft funnel a bit further aft to balance the profile though as you're missing masts, cranes and derricks, its hard to tell at this stage.

Those are deck mounted guns. There`s another deck above them.

The second ship of the class, the Beliskner (Belisknir) will have the turreted secondaries from the Æger class and a sligthly improved/modified superstructure to accamodate the turrets.
