A little nitpick emperor: why do you have three sizes of medium calibre guns 6.1", 6" and 5"? I know the 5" are for AA, but you also have the 3.9" AA, which is a superior gun for AA work. The casement guns are 6" I believe, so why turning your supply issues into a nightmare with so many type of guns. I suggest you replace the 3X6.1' gun with a second 2X8" turret and remove the entire casement battery. Also make the AA battery a uniform one by removing either the 5" or the 3.9".

Think of her as sort of a Japanese version of U.S.S. Wyoming. :D

Nagato as she appeared from 1945 onward. She was the oldest Japanese battleship to survive the war, a feat nothing short of miraculous. As the IJN was permitted to continue after the war, she continued in active service until 1950, when she became a training ship. She served in this capacity during the Third Sino-Japanese War, and was finally decommissioned on 7 January 1959, making her total service life an incredible 38 years, 1 month, and 23 days. As soon as she was decommissioned, she sailed from Yokosuka to her birthplace in Kure, where she was converted to a museum ship, a role she serves in to this day.

Nice! I will have to contribute to this AU at some point shall I? It would be nice to see some improved aa weapons and some of the Yamato type deviants that were planned to replace the Kongos.

Not sure why people always use the old and poor version of the Fuso, even after 2 years now..

Quite impressive, my Emperor, though I'm at a slight loss as to why you use USN administrative designations for the IJN (such as ComBatDiv etc)? There are the proper IJN designations out there, if you care to look for them. Your otherwise frighteningly realistic AU will gain credibility that way.

Hm, come to think of it, what is the backstory for NK1946? Also, very small nitpick that I just noticed, but shouldn't it be Nippon Kaigun, and not Nihon Kaigun? I know Japanese usually refer to Japan as Nihon nowadays, but I doubt they would use it then.
