Nice compact little vessel. I can't help but think she'd look better with a raised forecastle or more sheer to keep that forward gun dry.

Because I forgot to change the date.
Both were converted in 1938-39 to serve as mobile AA protection wherever it was needed, as war with the Allied Powers (including Seiran and Gotridge) was imminent. The idea was for them to compliment the land based AA in stratigic areas and/or cities, or areas where land based AA was impractical.

that's a lot of guns, are those singles like the Furutaka class or you took the IJN CA doctrine to a new level?
