Been busy to day:
[ img ]
The Obonet Class was the first Cenetian ship to be classified "Heavy Cruiser", though she was often mistakenly called a battleship. Kaloko was sunk in 1924 by Russian Batteship Imperitor Nikolai I. The three surviving vessels were put in drydock storage in 1926. During the Fleet Air Expansion of the late 20's and early 30's, the Rewer and Obonet were converted to aviation tenders. Percher was deemed to be in inadequate condition, and was scrapped. Both Obonet and Percher were lost in the failed Aluetian campaign in 1942.

The Esponov Class torpedo boats were the last Cenetian vessels designed with sailing rigs. In 1904, they were reclassified as destroyers.

I'd reduce the freeboard of the Esponov class. I tried it myself and it looks much more balanced if cut it down about five pixels.
Also, as a torpedo boat your biggest weapon is stealth, so I'd cut down the masts. By 1900 steam engines were reliable enough that you could do without sails and a ship this small wouldn't get much out of the extra range they could provide. 1900 is also too early for radios (Contemporary sets are heavy enough to sink her!) so there's little use for the masts in that regard.

Alright, thanks Theil. I'll work on that.

Some interesting designs, particularly the Obonet class. Kinda does remind me of Imperial Russia's coastal battleships of the late 19th century in terms of its layout.

Lost in the failed Aleutians campaign? I'm currently working on the events that happened there for my AU so that could possibly make it in. In the AU after all Japan put more resources into the campaign than reality due mostly from withdrawing some units from China.

Sure, I'd love to do a crossover with Serian.

You're welcome. She kind of also reminds me of the Admiral Ushakov, one of the tiny BBs that survived Tsushima in my AU and became a part of the new nations fleet a few months later.

A crossover could work well, already got KHT with his nations in the same AU world. Russia is divided up partially into some separate territories (mostly in the East) but the USSR still exists. Same goes for the British Empire, Nazi Germany, the Republic of France, the Empire of Japan and the United States. Things are free to change however.

We should be able to work things out. In writing Cenet's history, I'm currently right around the time when Serian emerges as it's own country, with a few ideas about the 20's and 30's. PM me and let's get to work. :)

Here's the first oiler for Cenet, the Lowano Class. The 3 ships of this class were named after islands in the Kopek Islands south of Cenet.

She's 90% there, but I need a little help on finishing her off detail wise.

Well, you can do away with the portholes amidship, unless you have a burning desire to see how the oil is doing.
