Something I whipped up over the weekend, the Rykpir Class of Protected Cruisers
Build date is laid down in 1904, and completed in 1906.

It's been a few months since I've posted in this thread, and seeing as my RL projects have hit the wall, (still working on the Fushimi and Mackensen) I figured I'd sit down today and do some AU work.
Updated first is the Scenario, see OP.
Next are the Cenetian naval aviation vessels, starting with the CNF Grouse, as modified in the late 20's.

YAY! First vessel uploaded with Dropbox the first time!
Next is the CNF Avion, the first Cenetian carrier, now being added to this thread.

Lastly, we have the CNF Lonfkom, the last and largest of the Cenetian carriers.

It seems the Lonfkom will have some trouble steering! The rudder(s) are missing!

Interesting designs. I rather like the hybrid nature and look of the CNF Grouse.
I'm assuming floatplane recovery is only possible by halting the ship? Unless they use that recovery system (I forget the name) that the USN utilized with trailing nets.

It's been a while since I drew anything built before 1910, so please don't yell too loudly. ;)
Here is the CNF Chancellor, launched 1909.

Not sure about the placement of the superstructure and funnels so far aft. The funnels appear to be sitting directly over your engines (be they reciprocating or turbine) nd not over your boilers which would be amidships and towards the bow. Vast interior space is consumed by the uptakes so the most direct route is the one usually sought after.
I also get the feeling that the aft spotting tower would be unusable underway due to the soot and smoke from the funnels ahead. The royal navy had that problem on ships including the dreadnought which was resolved by keeping the towers out of the way of the smoke.

Other than those points I really like the look of the design

Yeah, I was having issues about that myself, cramming too much into a small hull. She is turbine powered, the first Cenetian battleship to be. M yidea was to have the boilers centerline with the engines forward and to the sides, as close to the hull as possible.
