I'd look into the funnel design of the former HMY Britannia...just sayin'....

Looking better. Maybe make the masts thinner, the height looks ok, but they seem very chunky masts.

I would go for a funnel more like the one on the Delphine

I was looking at the Christina O as a main inspiration (which is where I got the idea for the funnel). Christina O was converted from the HMCS Stormont in 1954 (which is about the time this yacht would be built), so I don't think that the funnel is too 'modern.'
I can either do the funnel as original:

Or a straighter funnel:

I've also narrowed the base of the masts by one pixel on the first and two pixels on the second.

My preferred choice would be the funnel from A with the masts from B.

Personally I would go foe drawing B, and may be narrow the radars mast base by one or two pixels

I'd probably go for A with a taller tapering mast.

Alright, I have done some more work on the yacht.
Several things:
- I have decided to go with the funnel A, the streamlined one. First, I feel it fits the streamlined look I'm going for. Second, apdsmith mentioned a good point to me, saying that the 1950s was all about making things sleek and futuristic.
-I have gone with the second mast and I agree that it looks better.
-I have slimmed the mast supporting the electronics. I did not make it taller, as I felt it would detract from the overall look.

She's almost ready to take the King on vacation, but I still have a few details to add, such as a smaller tender between the bridge and the funnel, and the placement of the lifeboats and gangway (although I might place that on the other side to make it easier on me :P ).

Thank y'all for all of your comments!

I think I've got her pretty much completed. I decided to name her Swordfish (I think it's an appropriate name :) ).

I have also added the Swordfish to the first page.

More to come!

I would not mind one of those at my private mooring.

First I need the private mooring! :)
