Hordaland class, very nice, but what helicopter? :)
the helicopter deck is basically to small for helicopters, but light helicopters can perhaps managed to land. Other helicopter have to hover above here. But I have been reading that Norway are going to by drones later (over time) So perhaps she can carry some type of small combat helicopter with this kind of ASW operation in mind.

But originally I was thinking about that since she shall operate next to today's frigate of Norway, some have helicopters, she doesn't need that, just an handling deck for it and this deck is a type of modular deck with many capability. So for example if we have an disaster zone: fire, oil spill, etc she can also do those type of operation to a limited way. This would give this ship more thing to do in peace time, instead for just lying there.

That mean I have had many idea's. But the main idea is a modular deck, with capability to handle helicopters that are small enough. Just note the deck is only 17,5 meter long. So that limit the deck a bit.

I realy like the ''compact Nansen'' frigate, as u said before no helicopters are able to land on it i realy think a modern frigate should have atleast a helipad even iran has them nowerdays
also think that 2x2 NSM's will be enough for this ship , specialy as u said they operate near/ next to the real Nansen frigates, and indeed turn them in a standard style would give the ship a much nicer look.

Overall great ship with some small discussable ideas.
