A most interesting idea; looking forward to seeing more!

The next ship from the pre-ww1 company. A light cruiser, flag ship vessel.
Again a good sea boat. Like before this is an early picture from the design phase, with the initial springsharp plan.
I'll continue detailing up unless there are any issues.

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
3,853 lbs / 1,747 Kg = 35.7 x 6.0 " / 152 mm shells or 0.8 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.20
Metacentric height 2.0 ft / 0.6 m
Roll period: 12.8 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 100 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.28
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.32

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak, low quarterdeck
and transom stern
Block coefficient: 0.550
Length to Beam Ratio: 9.53 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 23.06 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 54 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 80
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -5.00 degrees
Stern overhang: -4.00 ft / -1.22 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 18.00 ft / 5.49 m

- Quarterdeck (26 %): 10.50 ft / 3.20 m (17.50 ft / 5.33 m before break)
- Stern: 10.50 ft / 3.20 m
- Average freeboard: 14.61 ft / 4.45 m
Ship tends to be wet forward

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 114.3 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 144.3 %
Waterplane Area: 12,809 Square feet or 1,190 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 119 %
Structure weight / hull surface area: 75 lbs/sq ft or 364 Kg/sq metre
Hull strength (Relative):
- Cross-sectional: 1.13
- Longitudinal: 1.61
- Overall: 1.17
Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is cramped
Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent
Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform
Good seaboat, rides out heavy weather easily

About the above. Anyone know how I can make the crew conditions more cramped? without changing the basic layout, like length and such...

I'm not sure what to do about the crew conditions, but I would move the foremost 4" gun up a deck. Maybe just behind the bridge as wing turrets. It seems like it would get pretty wet in rough seas. Or add a wet shield.

You can try and cut some of the hull length, and the crew will be in a sardine can.

I only got cramped when I cut it down to 100 feet... and that's a frigate :P
Oh well, I think this one gets to be an exception to the rule... which would make sense as its the fleet flagship...

Add a gun or two and some more superstructure.

Why. The town class of 1910 had:
- 2 x 6 inch
- 10 x 4 inch
- 4 x QF 3 pounds

My ships of 1906 has:
3 x 6 inch
-8 x 4 inch
-2 x 12 pounders.

I have a heavier main armament, slightly fewer secondary's, and some AA. Why do I need more guns.
And for that matter, why do I need more superstructure...

What about having the 6" all on one plane? Disperse the funnels to suit You could probably lop a considerable amount of dead space off either end though that may have the sardine can effect...

She looks a bit bare.

And if you want a cramped warship you add a gun or two.

And why do you need AA guns on a ship from 1906?
