Removed to more appropriate thread. There is no flag since it's not floating in any Navy at the moment, yet it could in several.
Mike: what did you mean by "pump-jet" / "Shrouded propulsor" ? Any references?

The text should really say Sweden and not Kockum since Sweden is the country of origin.
A bit of shading wouldn't go amiss. I suggest you take a look at the Gotland class for isnpiration.

A shroud would basically be a ring hood around the propeller, in this case.

There are examples in the database.

Thanks for comments. So here is origin country added; reluctantly, since I don't fully agree with it in this case. Also shroud added; the word was a bit confusing at first. Hopefully I understood the idea right. I couldn't find any references of it concerning this sub. And when it's going towards to AU I added some more...
Presumably they are going to use unmanned vehickes in this concept but is it wise or possible to use "real" minisubs? UVs are more for surveillance so this could have tactical advantages ecpesially you can use them as SRVs as well. Or what you think?
And about shading..I tried, cannot do it... :)

That mini-sub looks a bit big, If the parent sub surfaced fully,it would probably list to the side. Is there a way of preventing this?

Thanks Mike for pictures; I'll have to think about that. Is there any installed yet?
And for Rodondo:good point. I think it's not necessery to surface at all with minisub; submerged only with docking/undocking. Of course it requires proper facilities on the shore as well.

Yeah my thoughts exactly, I say a crane barge or a ship with heavy lift capabilities might be necessary if they want to uncouple in shallow harbor with no facilities

You can't really upload it to the main site if you don't. Where will you put it? We don't have a folder for every ship design bureau and yard in the world.

Anyway, do you have any sources for all the other stuff? This is the Never Build part of the forum and as such you should stick as tightly to the available sources as possible. I find some of the stuff you've added rather unlikely. The primary operators of the A26 is likely to be the RSwN and they don't use the NSM. In fact they don't use any sub launched missiles, ssm or otherwise.

I'm not able to arque about specific location of this picture; should I remove it, again? I dont't have any sources for this extra stuff because there isn't any. Both vessels are in conceptual- or planning -phase as thread title requires.

Edit: Back to basics: Shroud updated and extra items deleted; it was a bit too much, I admit. I'll just have to install a helipad or Amos (or both)in next one.. 8-)

However, some pictures indicates there is a gun? I've read some experiments has been done but what was the name of that system?
