TT hatch looks a bit big, but that's an artistic decision.

That said, it's a fine drawing.

I cant believe the RAS tower is behind the helipad.
How do you think the Pilots can perform a side kick landing?
That isnt possible, especially on high seas. It is to risky to land between the housing and that RAS tower.
One movement and youre a dead man.

first of all: look at the plans, it is possible. and second: that mast is foldable ;) so that is what makes it possible.

And besides, heloes does side kick landings, as you call them, all the time. In fact it's SOP in many navies.

I hope you checked my SQQ-89 drawing and skegs against the source material, as (IIRC) they weren't intended to be exactly the same as Burke III.

No it's not, it's outrageously oversized.

Read my post Thiel.
You cant do that with that mast up.
One movement of the ship and the helo crashes.
But since it can be folded... It can.

the sonar fitted perfectly, so I guessed (IIRC, tim thought the same) that it would fit. the skeg is redrawn, only the same style as yours ;) and I will do something about that torpedo hatch...... any other comments?

Yeah
In the official "side line" drawing I see only one central shaft
In the "overview" official drawing of Burke III I see 2 shafts... :?

the overview shows an slightly different (shorter and other underwaterhull) design. that design is coming soon as well, when I have taken all mistakes out of this one.

btw, there are 2 shafts, only with this hull design there is an 'skeg'.
