I would use ships' boats from the updated parts sheets. Compare my reworking of the California-class CGN:s so find out what I'm talking about. Also you should compare both the Midway- and Forrestal-classes for details etc.

Here's an update. Am not ready. I want to draw the other shipside too.
And I need the topviews of the 3" & 5" guns, from the GFC-Gear an the AN/SPS-6C Antenna?
Is there anybody outhere do can help me??

I can't help with radar or anything, but I do know that those 5" guns should be on the parts sheet.

EDIT: As per Heuhen's below citation, I can conclude that they are on the parts sheet. 5"/54s from the Midway, but it may be the later model as well.

So much damned head-slapping.

For their entire design history, from 1946ish through cancellation, the gun outfit of CVA-58 was 5/54 Mark 42 and 3/70 (not 3/50!!!) Mk 37. So far as I am aware, this has never been in the slightest dispute in any source of any worth.
