What can I say? The ship is simply outstanding! I especially like your rendition of "cruising readiness" configuration and flight op. configuration. I does make for an unusually large canvas, it's true, but the effect is well worth it. Now we except you to post the actual airwing-ready carrier configuration too! And, in case you don't want to have a try at it, maybe I could have a go at a rebuilt United States as of the 1960s - 1990s? (Yes, I do believe, if built, the USN would've found its original configuration rather awkward in the long run and have replaced all the pods, masts and cupolas with an island superstructure and conventional stack.)

Update info:

I have reworked the 5" L/54 Mk 42 guns after a reference drawing of the book "Kampfsysteme der US Navy"
(Battlesystems of the US Navy) by Stefan Terzibaschitsch (Page 20). and I have make the top views of them too.
I try the same with the 3" L/70 guns and looking for a good reference drawing.
I have make the top views of the radomes and platforms of the AN/SPS-10 and AN/SPS-6C systems too.
Next upload is coming soon.

@ bezobrazov:
The remake of the USS United States with an island, an angled flight deck and an closed hurricane bow and a closed aft section,
well, this is one of my plans. But we can work together on it, just for the case you want that. So be my "guest", please.

@ heuhen:

OK, have changed the color in the cats.
No shading in the windows?? Have seen this on many ships here like CVN-65 USS Enterprise for an example,
that's why I have do here exactly the same.
Have fixed both two big antenna masts. Same with the other ones.
Have fixed the error on the elevators.
Have fixed the color on the restractable mast with the CCA equipment.
Have fixed the errors on the edges of the flight deck on the bow section and the aft section.

I know am not ready. I have discovered some errors and have all fixed them.
Please, don't misunderstood me. Everyone make mistakes or failures 'Cause we are all human beeings.
I'm not perfect but I try allways to do my best. So it's ok from you to show and tell me things like you have done.
And btw, I'm not mad with you!!
Cheers
-Michael-

Words like yours going down like a good old single malt.
Hope you like the next upload, especially the top views of the 5" L/54 Mk 42.

It's difficult when you first do a plan view.My first one took me ages. The best advice is just work on the starboard side until you get it perfect before you flip it.That way the top comes out better too and you ain't got to fix it twice.

it's the color: there are to types of black there. I recolored everything that was totally black to green. and that some was left and black is not black.

and god night.

but keep it going.
