This ship was an study by the Royal Schelde Group. The object of this design study which was conducted during the 1990s seemed to be a downscaled version of the frigates that were building for the Royal Netherlands Navy at the time. The socalled High Performance Light Corvette would have had a displacement of around 1250 tonnes would have been capable of about 30 knots speed.
