However, some pictures indicates there is a gun? I've read some experiments has been done but what was the name of that system?
Some data founds on the web...

- Some claims about the capability for the German Type 212 (batch 2) to carry a retractable "Murena" recoilless 30-mm gun to engage surface targets, and the IDAS (interactive defense and attack system for submarines) missile system facilitating engagement of ASW helicopters.

- (for the Swedish A-26 SSK design): Able to carry 25-30mm Machine Guns (optional, likely a RWS)

Murena. That name I was looking for, thanks Mike.
So, here is IDAS and gun added/updated. The gun is pulled "from the hip" so if you have better proposal for it, let me know...concerns IDAS too.
I added some shading but since I'm not totally aware of mystery of proper shading, don't expect any Darth Panda-standard from me ;)
Also previous attachments deleted.

IDAS reloaded

(Four missiles will fit in one torpedo tube, stored in a magazine)

30mm MURENA recoiless gun, for submarine
the recoilless automatic cannon RMK 30 x 230 "Murena", which was developed for the helicopter Tiger, modified for submarine use

Look here for a newer advanced Mast (Triple-M) for German SSK, able to use 30mm gun or even launch very small UAV
