You know, it does look more 57mm than Goalkeeper, and it's on a raised platform from the looks of it. And I think I see two Phalanxes on top of the superstructure on the sides of the mast.

I think where you put the Aegis is actually the exhaust.
If you look close you see intake filters.

Also, where are the directors for AEGIS?

Here it is in all its glory, my second pass at the CDM.

“Is it just me, or does that "goalkeeper" in the picture look more like a 57mm gun?”

Labeled as Goalkeeper on the parts sheet. Though the pictures look more like Phalanx which would be more in line with a US ship.

All the machinery spaces are in front of the superstructure. The picture is not really clear if those are vents or windows for the bridge. I’ve placed the intakes and exhausts just above the machinery spaces. But I am willing to listen to suggestions.

“Also, where are the directors for AEGIS?”

There are none on any of the pictures I’ve seen, also the next generation AEGIS is supposed to not need directors.

Latest (and hopefully final) version of the Basic Carrier dock, Multi-mission. Intakes and exhausts have been moved to superstructure.

One version, the CDF (Carrier Dock, Fire Support/Strike), would be more like the LSM(R), Landing Ship Medium Rocket, with deck space taken up by launchers. Navalized M270 MLRS I guess.

That makes sense, but I'd love to see the launcher configuration.

So would I. I'd do a top view and the other versions if:
1. I had better views of the ship than those I've already posted
2. I had better details than what I've found so far
3. If they didn't look so much the same on a side view (actually one of their selling points)
4. I wasn't so lazy and short of time
