I know this is an 8 year old thread, but I was looking at your Montana Scheme 8 today and remembered something that I wasn't aware of back in 2014: it's supposed to have 6 shafts rather than 4. Transmitting 80,000 horsepower to each shaft wasn't possible with the technology of the 1940s.
PLEASE do not bump 8 year old threads after even acknowledging the thread is 8 years old! Bring it up on our Discord server or just keep the observation to yourself!
