Very nice work, that is one heavily-armed minelayer! Really is a multipurpose ship.

Not much I am afraid....
Ordered 1956, cancelled together with the destroyers Lappland & Värmland (modified Halland class) after navy budget cuts in 1958. The cancellation was almost as exensive as completing the ship. I think her turbines where saved and used in a powerplant.

I have look up the ship data. Arnamen is 1x Rb08 rail, 7(?)x1 57mm m/50, 200+ mines

I think it's the first time I see minelayer armed with anti-ship missiles. :>

Btw. speaking of 1958 cuts - were there already any projects for destroyers (or whatever they would be named) after Lappland & Värmland?
