Well its Kirovitis of a different sort and with radaritis but its a fine drawing of a rather unusual ship. The Soviets just loved builidng huge command ships with massive radars on them etc. Great work although I do question the green railings in front of the ship's boats aft. Surely the railing should still be grey, why would it turn green there? |

Thank-you guys! It's the slooping deck, whish can be found of various Russian ships. Red or Green. Golly might have done the same with some Russian ships, In red though I think.

The railing is (in real life) thin black line or thread that has basicly no color. In shipbucket style we use darker shade against the surface to color it. Sometimes, when the background is not grey (like in camoflaged ships or in colorfull civilian ships,) one has to adjust the railing color to match the background color. In case like these i think it is unneserical to paint the railing to match the ship's boats or other minor artifacts |

The sloping deck is fine Alex, it was just the green railings I objected to. Since its fixed that's ok. |

With your permission, Alex, I am going to adjust the shading on the huge forward dome and see if I can finesse it a little. It bugs me a little bit for reasons that I don't think I can communicate very well. Aside from that, it's an excellent drawing. I agree with Golly and Hood about railing shading, but it's already changed. |
